Purpose
The Sherman Hill Model Railroad Club purpose is to promote the hobby of Model Railroading with in the City of Cheyenne, and within the club for its members. The Club is a 501c7 social club with the I.R.S. The club goes to numerous Train Shows in the Rocky Mountain Region throughout the year, and hosts its own show in May.
The Sherman Hill Model Railroad Club is a 100% NMRA Club. Membership to the Sherman HIll Club also requires membership to the NMRA (National Model Railroad Association). The club does not discriminate due to race, sex, political affiliation, religion, or sexual orientation. Dues are paid in January of each year.
The Sherman HIll Model Railroad Club maintains an HO scale modular model railroad. The club takes modular railroad to numerous shows in the Rocky Mountain Region through out the year.
The Club meets on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8:30pm. For more information on meeting locations please email the club president at rrnut3985@mac.com
Meetings
Model Railroading is the hobby of building scale model of the railroads. The Sherman Hill Club is a predominately HO Scale club, but all modelers of other scales are welcome in the club.
